The most exciting smartphones to be launched in 2017
Let’s face it: we’re all addicted to our smartphones. We’re always downloading apps to help us or just entertain us, trying to figure out how to get the batteries last as long as possible, and trying to make the most of the storage capacity we have. So, although we might be outsiders when it comes to technology, there are some pre-requisites when choosing a new phone.
For smartphones, it’s been an eventful 2016, full of thrill and drama. Samsung Galaxy S7, Note 7, iPhone 7 Plus and Google’s Pixel phones were launched, Note 7 was the subject of a real drama, which pushes Samsung’s efforts to launch even more innovative and reliable products. So, what does 2017 has to offer to all smartphone addicts out there?
- A new iPhone
Although iPhone enthusiasm decreased over the year, it still attracts more attention than any other smartphone launch. There is still no confirmation regarding the name, it might be iPhone 7s or iPhone 8, word on the street says that Apple could even implement an edge-to-edge screen that integrates the TouchID fingerprint sensor, it could also add iris scanning, facial recognition, or another form of biometric authentication. After all, it’s the 10th iPhone anniversary!
- Samsung Galaxy S8
After the ugly experience with the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is looking forward to launch a new phone which would make people forget the explosion issues. It seems that they will launch first a Galaxy S8. Cheatsheet.com says that this phone is rumored to be equipped with exciting new technology at every turn. A 4,200mAh battery, upgraded wireless charging functionality, dual microSD card support, an IP68 rating, and a 3D display have also been mentioned in leaks.
- OnePlus 4
OnePlus 4 is another smartphone everyone will be excited about in 2017. The leaks say that OnePlus 4 will have a ceramic body, come in 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants and dual-camera on the back. However, OnePlus 4 may have a 5.3-inch display, smaller than that of the OnePlus One, 2, 3, and 3T, though resolution may increase to 4K, according to Gadgets 360.
- HTC 11
HTC launched HTC 10 last year, but it was not well received by the customers so probably the company is relying on the next flagship smartphone HTC 11. HTC is very unique with their designs, so we hope they will come out with something exciting.
